USI’s and why you need one

From January 1, 2015 the government will implement the new Unique Student Identifier system.  Each student will need to apply to get their own unique USI which will mean easy access to a digital transcript of your qualifications.  All Australian States and Territories will  be a part of this free online service. 

 
You can use your USI  to:
  • obtain proof you have completed qualifications , even if you can’t find your certificate!
  • keep track of all your qualifications
  • readily access documents to support applications for Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)
